Dollar General ALL DIGITAL $5/$25 scenarios for Saturday September 26
These deals are valid Saturday 9/26/20 using the $5 off $25 coupon.
I have information below for anyone new to Dollar General.
But a quick reminder to all:
Prices may vary. Scan each item at the store to verify the price and the digital coupon is still attaching correctly. You need to be at $25 after instant savings, but before coupons for the $5/$25 to deduct.
Use these scenarios as is, or mix and match items based on your needs and available coupons. Check out our post with more Dollar General All Digital coupon deals to help build your own scenario or for filler ideas.
For this first scenario, note, I specifically suggest buying the liquid versions of the Tide and Tide Simply so digital coupons attach correctly. If you buy the pods version, you will need to ring the Tide pods before the Tide Simply pods to ensure both digitals deduct properly.
This next scenario is a great example of how sometimes you can pay less when you buy more items. If you buy the 35lb dog chow by itself, you will pay $15.95 after digital coupon. (A good price) But combine with other coupon items and $5/$25 and pay only $13.45 for everything!
For the next scenario, please note, you need to have the jumbo pack rung up prior to the family pack. This is because the $2 luvs digital can attach to either. By ringing the jumbo first, you ensure the $2 attaches to it, allowing the $3 to attach to the family pack.
If all you need is diapers, you could do this instead:
If you need diapers but $16 is too high out of pocket for you, consider splitting a deal with a friend or neighbor who also needs diapers. You each only pay half but still take advantage of all the coupon savings.

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:
- Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
- “Clip” the coupons to your account.
- When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
- Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.
If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.
If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.
**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*I strongly encourage you to use the DG app to scan items at your store to verify price and coupon is attaching properly.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
