Dollar General: Buy $15 PG, get $5 off $5.01 coupon!

So this fun coupon is back!  Spend $15 on Procter & Gamble products and get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase of $5.01 or more!  Please don’t forget your receipt, because it will be printed on the bottom.

Some cashiers will ask if you need your receipt.  Get in the habit of always getting your receipt and checking it.  So, for this deal, your total needs to be $15 or more AFTER coupons are used.

This is what I did:

2 liquid Tide $4.95 each

2 Tide Pods $4.95 each

1 Downy $4.50

Subtotal was $24.30

Used $8 in paper coupons

and the $1 Downy digital

Final total was $15.30 + tax

Got a $5 off $5.01 coupon, so it’s like paying only $10.30 for all 5 products!

There is also a $2 Digital for the Tide Pods.  I am hoping we get some new P&G digitals soon.

There are many different scenarios that you can do, but with P&G, they only allow 1 of each coupon, so you can’t use 2 of the same insert coupons.  I used 1 print and 1 insert for the Tide liquid and the same for the Tide Pods.
