Dollar General Clearance Event!

Well, it’s Wednesday and we’re at the middle of the week already!  Only 2 more days until the next Dollar General Clearance Event!  Yes, more mandatory shopping!  LOL

Okay, seriously, it’s not mandatory.  BUT, there should be some awesome deals out there if you didn’t buy everything yesterday!

DG Clearance Event: February 28th through March 1st the following should be 50% off at most Dollar General stores.  Check with your stores as sometimes they do different percentages.

EXTRA 50% off already reduced categories:

• Core clearance – this is anything marked with an orange clearance tag on the actual item or as a shelf marker.  Core clearance may be anywhere in the clearance markdown process including only 10% right now.
• Blue and gray dot apparel, shoes, and accessories, and winter wear – these should be 50% off right now.  An extra 50% off would make them 75% off the original price.
• Gift Sets – the included gift sets should be at 70% off right now.  So if you purchase a $10 item, the price would now be $3 – and 50% off of that would make it only $1.50!
• Back to school home, school stationery, calendars, backpacks, and Valentine’s Day merchandise – 90% off right now!  So a $1 item would be 10¢ and the extra 50% off makes it only 5¢!

Some may want to get a headstart and go shopping on Friday to get the best selection of what is left, but others may choose to wait until Saturday for the Saturday coupon!  This Saturday’s coupon is $6 off $25 instead of $5 off $25!  Be sure to clip it in your DG digital coupon account!

Get your coupons ready and remember to take a drink and snack with you!  You don’t want to overpay for a soda and chips when you are trying to save money!
