Dollar General Clearance Event has NOT been confirmed!

Many other websites have posted that there is a clearance event this weekend.  This has NOT been confirmed at this point.  This is why we here at Penny Puss consider ourselves the leader in responsible shopping at Dollar General.

The charts that you see posted elsewhere are based on last year’s events and / or possibly the year before.  We will post when we can confirm – which at this point is not looking good.

It is always possible that they will let the stores know last minute … Dollar General has a way of making last minute changes and employees not even knowing about them.

So, with that said, it won’t hurt to check your clearance in the stores this weekend, but there is no official notice of a clearance event at this time.

I only found 2 penny items today at my local store, but they are the best at keeping the store clean and free of pennies.
