This is an awesome deal!  I have had many small appliances in my kitchen that have just not made it to the “necessity” status, but I absolutely love my FoodSaver vacuum sealer!

If you garden or even just like to cook items ahead of time and freeze them for easy meals, a vacuum sealer can be your best friend.  I have tried freezing foods in plastic food prep containers and the food gets ice crystals pretty quick.  The nice thing about a vacuum sealer is that you can take most (if not all) of the air out and the food stays fresher in the freezer for longer!
