Dollar General Clearance Event — Please READ, YMMV!

I’m just going to say that Dollar General ALWAYS has to complicate things.  The Dollar General clearance event – SEASONAL only was set to start Friday, Sep 22nd.

A friend of mine said that they got an update for a week long clearance event starting Friday, Sep 29th.  I do NOT know if this is for all Dollar General stores.  I do not know if they are cancelling the one starting this weekend AND then having another next weekend.

If you are friendly with a Dollar General manager, you could ask them, but from my 9+ experience posting Dollar General deals, they usually know about as much as we do in the end.

So, the original one that is supposed to start tomorrow is Friday, 9/22 to Sunday, 9/24:

My friend, in another district, says that they are having an additional clearance event a full week starting Sep 29 … on core too.  I won’t get into the details on that until I figure out if it’s just her district.  The manager that I asked today said she didn’t know anything about the second one.

So, anyway, I guess we will see.
