Dollar General CV Chips reg $1 each – get 12 for $6!

Here is a nice deal on chips right before Superbowl weekend!  Dollar General has select $1 Clover Valley brand chips buy 2 get 1 free, plus there is a $2 off $10 coupon off Clover Valley products!

UPDATE:  I put in an order yesterday for DG Pickup for these items.  My order was cancelled.  I have no idea why.  I went to the store and got 6 BBQ and 6 sour cream & onion today and the deal worked perfectly.  Be sure to match up the chip in the app to be sure the coupon attaches, it does not attach to the ridges sour cream.

Here is what you need to buy:

(12) Clover Valley potato chips ($1 each)

  • instant buy 2 get 1 free takes the total down to $8
  • $2 off $10 Clover Valley coupon 2/14/21

Pay only $6 – that’s 50% off!

Look for the wording under the chips to see which varieties qualify.  I ordered mine for a DG Pickup.

  • 3 CV Salt and Vinegar
  • 3 CV Sour Cream and Onion
  • 3 CV BBQ
  • 3 CV Ripple Cut

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

Using a $5 off $25 DIGITAL coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.

Using a $5 off $25 PAPER coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25 BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Have cashier scan paper $5/$25 coupon prior to applying digital coupons.
  • Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply.
  • Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

**Scan items with the DG app to verify price and double check that you have the digital coupon clipped, and that it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
*$5/$25 (or any DG threshold coupon) deducts a little off each qualifying item. Each of these small increments will total $5 (or whatever your threshold amount is.)
