Dollar General New Penny Policy!

Although nothing has actually changed with penny shopping, the new Dollar General Penny Shopping Policy specifically lists what the employees are to do if items ring up as a penny.  It also tells the employees that they are to sell the penny items to you.

If you are new to penny shopping:
Please go to PennyPussAPP.com and read/watch the video about penny shopping.  The employees are supposed to pull the items from the shelf.  We just get what they miss.  And, it’s not always that they are not doing their job!  I hate to hear that.  Sometimes they can’t find the items or didn’t get a chance yet to remove the items from the shelves.  There are also additional items many times that are not on the lists that they get.  My local stores do try to pull the items, but while they are focused on the whole store, we (as shoppers) are more focused on the pennies … so we sometimes know about items being marked down that they don’t know about.
