Dollar General NEW stacking $2 Quaker Coupon!

There is a new Dollar General $2 off 2 select Quaker products “store” digital coupon.  “Store” coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons.  Not all digitals are store coupons.

This new digital coupon can be used various ways, but you can only use the digital coupon once.  There is more information toward the bottom of this post for Dollar General digital coupon use.

Here are 3 scenarios that I have come up with for the $2 off 2 Quaker coupon.  While most digitals are manufacturer coupons, you can see on this one that it is a “DG Store Coupon”.  Dollar General policy allows stacking of a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon.

Life Cereal is $2.75 regular priced, but is on sale right now for either 2 for $5 or 3 for $6.

There is a printable 75¢ off coupon to stack.  You can only print 1 coupon per computer.

Save $0.75 on any ONE (1) box of Quaker® ready to eat cereal

If you have 2 computers, you can use (2) 75¢ printables with the $2 off 2 for Life Cereal and your final total should be $1.50 for 2 boxes! (75¢ each)

If you have 3 computers, you could use the $2 off 2 and (3) 75¢ printables for a final total of 3 for $1.75! (58¢ each)

Or, if you prefer, you can use the $2 off 2 on Quaker instant oatmeal along with the $1/2 insert coupon for a total of $1 for 2 boxes!  (50¢ each)

If you have another great scenario, let us know!  I did not go out and check these yet, but I will update when I go out a bit later or when someone else verifies that these scenarios work.

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

Using a $5 off $25 DIGITAL coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.

Using a $5 off $25 PAPER coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25 BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Have cashier scan paper $5/$25 coupon prior to applying digital coupons.
  • Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply.
  • Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

**Scan items with the DG app to verify price and double check that you have the digital coupon clipped, and that it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
*$5/$25 (or any DG threshold coupon) deducts a little off each qualifying item. Each of these small increments will total $5 (or whatever your threshold amount is.)
