Dollar General Penny List for Aug 17

The Dollar General penny list for today, August 17, is the Hostess back to school shipper.  Of course, the shipper (cardboard display) may be long gone by now and the Hostess could be on a shelf, rack, or endcap.

Please note that we do not have any affiliation with Dollar General and they can change things up at any time.  They have been known to cancel scheduled markdowns in the past.  So, check the UPC’s in the Dollar General app to verify prices.

If the app shows $0.00 when an item is scanned, it is most likely a penny.  Do not add to your list and assume something in their is a penny because it shows $0.00.  You must scan the item in real time.  If an item rings more at the register and you don’t want it, please ask that they remove the items and that you have changed your mind.

Also, there could very well be surprise pennies.  Be sure to check items in clearance and similar items to see if you can find any surprises!  Best of luck!
