Dollar General Penny List for January 18th!

The penny list for Dollar General for Tuesday, January 18th isn’t much of a “list” as it’s only one item.  With that said, we may have surprise pennies so scan similar items with the Dollar General app.  Many times when we have “core” item pennies, we have surprises that are not on the penny list.

This is what is scheduled to penny on Tuesday:

UPC for scanning:

If you scan the UPC with the Dollar General app, you will see that the beans show as “MC Trader” brand.  DG sometimes gets things mixed up.  So, you might NOT be looking for this:

You might actually be looking for these.  You can see that the UPC matches the penny list UPC.

I bought some of these beans during the last clearance event.  They were still on the shelves … located on the bottom shelf in the regular food aisle.  They could be in clearance, regular shelves, or even on end caps.

I am not sure that in itself is really worth going on a hunt for, but as I said, we could have surprises that are not on the penny list.  And, the first to find them, gets them.  So if you are not snowed in, you might want to venture out and check your local Dollar General for surprises!

Also, I’m still waiting to hear if Christmas is going to markdown more.  Last year it skipped 90% and went straight to a quarter so there was a lot left.  I hope that happens again this year.  We shall see!  We have no affiliation with Dollar General.  Dollar General can change things up at any time.
