Dollar General Penny List for Oct 31 / Nov 1

I’m sorry it is so late that I am finally getting the Dollar General penny list posted.  We have a penny list for Tuesday and Wednesday.  It’s just been a heck of a day.

I’m still sick … getting better but my cough just won’t let me sleep more than about an hour at a time.  Mucinex is helping the congestion … but not the cough.  So, on Friday, I put in a request to my doctor to get something for my cough.  I was messaged back that my request was approved, but no one called me in a script.  /sigh/

So, it’s been a long long weekend of very little sleep.  When I lay down, in about an hour, I am up and coughing again.  So, today is Monday and the doctor’s office finally called in a prescription.  Yay!  I am really hoping for a nice full night of sleep.  My fingers are crossed anyway.

In Pennsylvania here, we are possibly getting a freeze tonight, so even being sick, I have been trying to get my garden harvested.  Today, it was misty and the temperature was around 50ish.  I dug up ALL my Jerusalem artichokes.  Then, I find out after that I should have just left them in the ground.  So cold, dirty, and exhausted, I now have a plastic storage tote almost full of Jerusalem artichokes that only have a couple week shelf life.  I’m pretty upset with myself over this … what do i do with them all now?

I did cut one up for me for dinner and put it in the air fryer.  Tasted like a potato.  They kind of remind me of a water chestnut when eaten raw.

So besides that, while I was out picking up my prescription, I bought some chicken breast for dinner.  When I got home, I put the bag with the chicken on top of the stove.  It leaked all over the stove!  Ugh!  So, I walked back through the house to see where else it may have leaked … so after getting out the carpet scrubber and scrubbing the carpet, I made dinner.

So, here I am trying to get the list up last minute and most of you probably have already found it on another site.  Again, sorry for the delay.

It is always possible to find additional items as surprise pennies.  So scan similar items in the clearance area and end caps.  Remember that stores are supposed to pull the penny items from the sales floor and we find what they miss.  So, don’t ask where the penny items are.  And, while they are supposed to sell pennies if you find them, they do not have to sell expired items.  Use the DG app to verify prices in your store.

We have no affiliation with Dollar General and they can change things up at any time.  They can cancel scheduled penny lists and clearance too.  That is why we say to always verify using the DG app.  Also, older penny items can reset back to full price.

Wednesday, the day after Halloween, the Halloween balloons should penny.  Other than that, Halloween will start marking down at 25% at Dollar General.  It’s best to go to Walmart or other stores that start at 50% off if you want a deal right after Halloween.

So, sorry for the whole story.  I’m not looking for sympathy … just want you all to know that I am just trying to push through right now and for some reason things haven’t really been going my way.

I am hoping to wake up well rested tomorrow and start back to work on searching for the remodel locations to update the free list.
