Dollar General – FREE APP!

I keep seeing posts by people unaware that the Dollar General App now shows prices in real time.  Yes, it shows the price in the store!  You DO NOT need to pay for an app for finding pennies.

The Dollar General App is FREE!  Be sure you are purchasing the one from Dollar General.  You can find it in the app stores by Dolgencorp, LLC.

Download it from either the Google Play or the App Store!  It’s an awesome app, you can save items to your list and watch for price changes over days or weeks.  It even shows  you when there is a coupon matchup.  If you shop at Dollar General, you need this app!  You will need to turn bluetooth on in your phone.  And, if you cannot connect to store WiFi, you will need to turn that off.  Play around with it and see what works for you.

You may also, however, want a way to easily find out what items are pennies, clearance, and hot sales.  Well, we have an app for that!  The Penny Puss App with DG Penny Finder posts the weekly list in the app.  It would be silly to scan each item in a 3rd party app when you can use the Dollar General app to check prices.  You can even check prices in the DG app from home.

Yes, there is a one-time fee for the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder, but it is well worth it for convenience of finding what might be included.  Remember though that some items are YMMV.  If you are new to penny shopping, please go to PennyPussAPP.com (the website) and read about the basics.  This is very important.  Once you have a basic understanding, come join our group on Facebook.
