Dollar General Remodels: What to look for “lists”!
So, you want to go to a Dollar General remodel store, but you don’t know where to start. Finding the remodel is actually the hard part. After you find a remodel, you need to search the DG app for your store and put any and all clearance markdowns in your “list”. Then each Sunday morning, you will check to see if all these items pennied (or went to $0.00 in your list).
As far as I know, the frozen food and the refrigerated food does not penny. If you want that (and if it goes to 50% at your store) you will need to get it at 50% off.
These frozen items going to 50% is usually an indication that the other items on your list will penny the following Sunday. Frozen and refrigerated items do not go to 50% in all stores, so you need to check the store Sunday morning to verify. It is best to do a couple manual checks of the UPC’s in the DG app before heading out though.
