Dollar General Tresemme Deal TODAY only!
The Tresemme Botanique Coconut Milk Aloe Vera is a clearance item at Dollar General and it is marked down 25% right now. With the extra clearance event going on right now, you may be able to score a really great deal.
So, this particular Tresemme conditioner is marked 25% off it’s original price of $5, making it $3.75. With the extra clearance event, it was $1.87. She had a $1 DG “store” digital and a $1 manufacture digital that stacked. She paid 1¢ for this product.
Yes, you might think it should have been free or even overage, but DG “store” coupons work differently than manufacturer coupons. When a DG “store” coupon would make something free, it instead makes it a penny. This is just one of those oddities in the Dollar General system.
So, to recap:
This conditioner UPC is 022400000640 and it on clearance for $3.75
- extra 50% off clearance store is $1.87
- extra 70% off clearance store is $1.12
There are a couple different digital Tresemme coupons out, if you have not used them yet making this a free or cheap item. Check your Dollar General app for your Tresemme coupons and be sure to select the ones you want to use.
If a DG store digital stacks with a manufacturer digital, the price will be taken down as low as a penny and you will lose the overage. If a manufacturer digital is larger, you should receive overage to be applied to other items in your cart.
So with the total being $1.87
- $1 manufacturer digital came off
- 86¢ of the “store” digital came off.
The items is now 1¢.
I hope that I have explained this well enough to understand.
Also, look for the red 22 oz Tresseme like the bottles above. I believe that they are also on clearance just not quite as low.

Using a $5 off $25 PAPER coupon?
- Subtotal needs to be at least $25 BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
- Have cashier scan paper $5/$25 coupon prior to applying digital coupons.
- Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply.
- Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.
**Scan items with the DG app to verify price and double check that you have the digital coupon clipped, and that it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
*$5/$25 (or any DG threshold coupon) deducts a little off each qualifying item. Each of these small increments will total $5 (or whatever your threshold amount is.)
