Dollar General – up to 50% off new markdowns!

There are some new 50% off markdowns starting today at Dollar General!  I am really surprised when I saw the gift sets on the list.  I truly thought that this was a mistake.

Usually the gift sets carry over to Valentine’s Day, but they are starting marking them down today.  I do not know if there are any exclusions at this time.  I just spot checked a couple of them this morning.  They are the gift sets with the purple square price tag.

I also spot checked the fall and winter apparel and found that the Hanes sweats were scanning 50% off as well as winter socks and slippers.  My local store really doesn’t carry a lot of clothing items anymore.

NCI store 50% markdowns include NCI wish apparel, pink clover apparel, and orange clover apparel and shoes.  Hair accessories are excluded from this markdown.  I am not sure what the “wish” apparel is, but will try to find out.
