Dollar General upcoming Remodel 50% off frozen foods!

Whoa!  I hit the jackpot here!  There is a local store getting ready to remodel and a lot of their frozen food is 50% off!  Some of the refrigerated food was too!

They will be closed for about a week, so I guess these items have to be sold so they don’t go bad during the remodel.  These are great quick foods … especially nice for when I want something for dinner that my husband doesn’t like.

Not shown, but I did get 2 DiGiornio pizzas at 50% off and there is a $1.50 off 2 digital coupon right now!

Some of the items were in the wrong places, so I had to scan them on the Dollar General app to be sure they were marked down as a some things were not.

Even if you are not local.  You can use this information to put the UPC’s in your Dollar General app to see if your store is a remodel or to look for a remodel store.

The Dollar General app may say $0.00 in the list.  You must scan the UPC for the select store.

If your store is getting ready for a remodel, they should start putting out clearance tags on items that are specific to that store.

Most of the other shelf-stable foods that were clearance sold out over the weekend.

There was still a lot of frozen items left … even ice cream.  But I am sure it’s going to go fast as that is the main store to shop in Donora (Pa).

 

Here are additional items to search for remodels as the frozen food marks down much later than the other items.  Remember that all stores are not the same, there is no universal penny list for remodels.  But, you can try the following UPC’s to get an idea if a store is remodeling.  Also, check out your actual store as you will most likely see clearance tags that are not the same as other stores.
