Gold Star families and US military veterans can get a free lifetime pass to visit our national parks! Active duty military can get a free annual pass.
You can see how to obtain your pass and read answers to the frequently asked questions on the National Park Services site. If I am reading it correctly, you can get your pass at participating agencies or online. If you opt to get it online, there is a processing fee.
