Heads up on the Dollar General APP for penny items!
It seems that the Dollar General app has been acting up a bit and showing items for a penny recently that are not a penny when you get the item to the register. I don’t know what is going on with it, but you need to be aware that the price at the register is the price you will pay.
Please do not ask for overrides to a penny! Be cautious in that you know what should be a penny before going to the register so that you do not overwhelm yourself or the cashier with a bunch of non-penny items. Also, please put your items back that do not ring a penny or the discount that you think it should. The employees are not to blame for the app errors.
I can’t seem to say this enough. The employees at most Dollar General stores work hard. And, most employees that I know are really nice, especially if you are nice to them.
Hopefully DG will get their app fixed soon. It may already be fixed as I have not had this error in mine yet. But, maybe I’m not looking at the glitching stuff.
Remember, you DO NOT need to purchase an app for penny shopping at Dollar General!
