My CVS and Rite Aid FREEBIES today!

Hello penny shopper!

As we have said before, CVS deals are mostly personalized coupons, so you may not get the same coupons as I do.  The Crest toothpaste is $2.99 each, buy 3 get $5 in Extra Bucks and the Scope is $3.99 get $2 in Extra Bucks.

Crest Toothpaste $2.99 x 3

Crest Scope $3.99 x 1

Total is $12.96

Used $6/4 Crest coupon

and $1 off mouthwash CVS coupon

Paid $5.96

Got back $7 in Extra Bucks!

With CVS, a spend threshold is BEFORE coupons.  Also, not everyone gets the same coupons so your deal may not be the same.  CVS coupons are stackable with manufacturer coupons, but you have to scan everything that you are buying to be sure that they qualify for each of the deals.  Some items seem like they “should” qualify, but they don’t.  If you find no coupons for an item but you think there is a coupon, scan again as sometimes there can be an error when scanning.

CVS store coupons also say MFR, but if the coupon can be printed then it is actually a CVS coupon.    Most coupons are personalized, except for the manufacturer coupons (these show pictures of the product when you look at them in your app or in your account online).

To earn Extra bucks, you must be at 98% of the qualified total.  If you need $10 in select purchases to earn Extra Bucks, then you will need a total of at least $9.80 to earn it.

For CVS coupons (not manufacturer) you need to be at 98% of the coupon to use it.  In other words, if you have a $4 off $10, your total must be 98% of the $10 or $9.80 to use that coupon.  This gets tricky if you try to combine two dollar off coupons on the same items.  If you have (2) $3 off 10 coupons on the same items, you will need $10 for the 1st coupon and $9.80 for the next coupon.  So your total will need to be $19.80 to use both coupons.

If you have a coupons that makes an item free, you should do that as a separate transaction as it could mess up other coupons that you are trying to use.

Be careful at CVS to only clip the coupons that you need as single coupons may attach and the $6 off 4  may not.

Rite Aid, easy freebies after coupons and rewards.  Buy Scope or Oral B toothbrush and get $3 back in rewards.  Use $1 off each L2C coupons.  You can see Lisa’s post here for the Rite Aid deals:
