My DG small Dollar General coupon haul

My husband and I both used our $2 off Pepsi and Frito Lays DG digital coupons today.  I did an all-digital coupon order while he used the digital and the Pepsico (paper) coupons.  If you are new to using Dollar General digital coupons, it will be explained further down this post.

I got 3 “deals” the All Detergent Pacs, the Pepsi & Frito Lays, and the Suave hand soap.

All:

I had the $3 off 2 and $4 off 2 digital coupons clipped for the All detergent deal.  The register took the smaller one – the $3 one.  So I paid $2.50 each for the All.

Frito Lay:

$2 off a Pepsi and Frito Lay product.

$1 – 1 liter Pepsi and $2.50 for the cheese dip.  $1.50 for both after coupon or 75¢ each.

Suave:

The Suave hand soap were $2 each and there were 2 digital coupons – $1/2 store, and $1/2 manufacturer.  They were $1 each after coupons.

The second picture in the graphic above is my husband’s.  He purchased:

2 liter Pepsi

1 Lays chips/ 1 Cheetos 2 for $5.

Used $2 off 2 store digital, $2 off 2 Pepsico (paper) and  50¢ off Cheetos (paper). Final price $2.30 for all 3 (or 77¢ each).

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.
If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.
**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**
