No Dollar General Penny List, but new markdowns!

We are not aware of any scheduled penny list at Dollar General today, but we do have a couple new markdowns.  It looks like the clearance percentages are really moving slow right now.

While we don’t know of any pennies, that does not mean that we might not come across surprise pennies.  Anything is possible.

Here are the new markdowns:

  • Red square shoes should now be $1 each
  • Easter seasonal and party should be ringing 70% off
  • Easter candy and baking should be ringing 50% off

Included in the 50% off Easter baking are these items:

  • Wilton Easter sprinkles 3 oz both pearl and pastel
  • Wilton Easter sprinkles 2.5 oz mini egg
  • Betty Crocker Dunkaroos 16 oz frosting

Here is a UPC to check red square shoes with your Dollar General app.  If you are not already aware of the Dollar General app, you can go to the list tab at the bottom and then you will see a barcode at the top that you can click on.  If the UPC does not scan, you can put it in manually by clicking the link in the DG app above the scanner box.

All other clearance looks like it stayed the same.

  • Brown dot still at 90% (including brown dot fall and winter hardware)
  • Gray/Blue dot clothing, shoes and accessories still at 70% + 50%
  • Bendon Bookstand still at 90%
