If you like the flavor of sprouts, why not try growing microgreens?  They do not have the same strict guidelines for growing as sprouts do.

Here is what I have:

Trays

Small Trays

I am growing spotted pea microgreens right now in vermiculite.  I purchased my seeds from Sprouting.com.

Growing microgreens would be a great project for the kids that are home from school right now!

I have grown sunflower and other small microgreens in the past, but I have never tried the peas.  I purchased pea microgreens at a local grocery store and they were so good!  So, I decided to go try growing them myself.  This is my test batch.  I did not weigh them down like you are supposed to.
