Staples delivery ordered yesterday!
This is my order from Staples that I placed yesterday on their website. I miss having a local Staples store, because I would like to go look at office chairs before purchasing a new one, but otherwise they are really great for delivery.
I used to have Amazon Prime, but found that I wasn’t really using it that much since the deals aren’t nearly as good as they used to be and their 2-day shipping was extending to more than 2 days on some deliveries. Anyway, a couple months ago, I decided not to renew Prime, and I really don’t miss it much.
I have Walmart+, and most items that I would buy from Amazon, I can get from Walmart. Not my coffee though. So, I either get subscribe and save on the coffee (or buy over $35 for free shipping) from Amazon or buy directly from the San Francisco Coffee Company, depending on the price.

The main reason that I have Walmart+ though is to check clearance prices in store. Some clearance won’t show when you scan, only when you use the “scan & go” feature on their app.
I sometimes forget about Staples, since they no longer have an actual store here in our town, but I was just browsing looking for deals yesterday and found a good deal on a case of Chips Ahoy Cookies. I also grabbed a case of Scott Toilet Paper, and to get to the coupon threshold of $100, I bought a ream of paper. I can always use an extra ream of paper.
If you sign up for Staples rewards, they sometimes tuck a nice coupon code in their emails. I had a $20 off $100 that I used. Here is my order:

Staples also has a good deal on 22-24 ct select brands/varieties of Kcups right now too.
I believe you have to sign up for Staples rewards to get coupons emailed to you.
With Staples rewards, you can get free shipping on $25 or more (lower threshold than Amazon).
Amazon has been offering me a 30-day free trial of their Prime lately and I have not accepted … not sure if I will. Maybe if it’s still there later this year around the holiday season.
I am quite happy with my Staples order and how quickly I received it.
Anyone who knows me from back before Rakuten bought the Fatwallet website, knows how much I liked Amazon. Over the years though, they (and probably me too) have changed. I do not like to purchase from 3rd party sellers, and it’s a lot harder to sort them out on Amazon than on Walmart’s website. This is another reason that I opt for Walmart+ over Amazon Prime.
Again, very happy with Staples order and quick delivery without paying for any extra service. Unfortunately, the variety is a bit more limited with Staples, but you can still find some good deals.
