The Penny Puss app with DG penny finder now with remodel locations!

The Penny Puss app with DG penny finder has been around for over 9 years now.  It has changed quite a bit over the years.  We started back before Dollar General’s app had scanning capability.  Now that the DG app does scan prices, we no longer put every item that is seasonal in it because you can use the DG app for prices.

Also, our old hosting company is no longer hosting apps and we had to switch over to a different company.  A lot of our information was lost at that time.

What the Penny Puss app with DG penny finder DOES include:

  • The weekly Dollar General penny list (when there is one)
  • High percentage clearance markdown lists at Dollar General
  • And, now, we also have added links to the Dollar General remodel list and additional information on remodels so you don’t have to search.

So while the Penny Puss app it is not what it was back in the day, it is still an easy reach to find the penny list and the links to the upcoming Dollar General remodels.

While penny shopping right before a remodel is fun, the 50% off clearance that starts earlier is a great way for people to save money on essentials (clearance items vary by store for remodels).

I don’t understand the whole trend of paying someone to “penny shop”.  Also, I figure with companies raising their prices, there are people who really could use this information and some who can’t afford to pay for it.  

I also realize that there are some remodel penny shoppers who don’t like me giving out this information for free.  Well, I spend MY time searching for the remodels on Brickseek … a LOT of my time.  They are mine to give away.
