UPDATE on Upcoming Dollar General Clearance Event – Visuals!
So, we posted that there is an upcoming clearance event scheduled for Dollar General starting this Friday. It’s a 3-day event and there are a lot of new items being discontinued that should be included! I say “should” because sometimes stores markdown at different times and these markdowns will not be guaranteed.
The Dollar General Clearance Event is scheduled from Friday, March 4th through Sunday March 6th. The clearance event includes seasonal as well as core clearance. Following the list, will be pictures of some of the core clearance that should be included. The clearance could be on the shelves, on end caps, or in the clearance areas.
Most stores will be an extra 50% on these categories:
- Clearance area
- Clearance shelf tags
- Holiday plastics – only the ones listed in this link
- Blue and gray dot clothing, shoes, and accessories
- Winterwear
- Select ASOTV (As seen on TV)
- Select antibacterial and sanitizing wipes

The pictures are just some of the newer clearance items and there are probably a lot of older clearance in some stores too. Some stores may have more clearance than others.
