Update to Dollar General Gift Card Deal that went wrong.

I posted the other day about the Dollar General Gift Card promotion that didn’t work the way it was supposed to work. After 3 emails and 3 calls, they are finally sending me a $5 gift card.

I went back to the store like the customer service representative told me and bought ANOTHER gift card as she said it was supposed to come off a second gift card. I put my phone number in the pin pad and it did not work. Call or email.
The correct number to call for this type of problem is 888-518-3446 … or email digitalcare@dollargeneral.com. I did both.
