Dollar General Couponing Haul this morning.

I know a lot of you like to wait until Saturday to do the $5 off $25 deals, but around here the good deals are usually hard to find.  That doesn’t mean that I won’t go Saturday, it just means that I will get something else.

These deals are all posted on our site.  I’ll start with the Cottonelle and Scott deal.

I purchased:

2 Cottonelle at $12.50 each ($25).

  • $5 off 2 coupon (the coupon attaches in the store when it’s scanned, it does not attach when just looking it up by name.)
  • and $3 instant savings “PER” $15 spent.  So the total would be $17 without anything additional, but when I added a $5.50 Scott Paper Towel, the subtotal was now $30.50 and the $3 instant off $15 now came off twice!

So, my total was only $2.50 more when I added the paper towels due to the extra $3 coming off.

The next deal is the All Detergent.

  • Buy 2 get 1 free Dollar General Digital “store” coupon (can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon)
  • $1 All Detergent printable (scroll to the bottom of the landing page)

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.
If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

The last deal the I got this morning is the Suave.

Always scan items with the DG app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.
