Dollar General Degree Deodorant 35¢!

Dollar General has a new coupon for Degree Deodorant and it makes the 1.7 oz only 35¢!  I realize that “travel” size is anything under 3.4 oz, but all their deodorants are under 3.4 oz, so I am not sure it matters in this case.

Also, for airline travel, I think 3.4 oz is for liquids and not necessarily solids.  Besides, Dollar General sells a 0.5 oz that would probably be considered trial or travel size.  This is just our opinion.  If you don’t feel comfortable using a specific coupon, then don’t.  It’s up to you.

I personally did not get this coupon.  Lisa shared this screenshot with me.  My DG app shows a $1.50 off 2 coupon.  My husband also got the $1.50 off 2.

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

Using a $5 off $25 DIGITAL coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.

Using a $5 off $25 PAPER coupon?

  • Subtotal needs to be at least $25 BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax NOT included.
  • Have cashier scan paper $5/$25 coupon prior to applying digital coupons.
  • Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply.
  • Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

**Scan items with the DG app to verify price and double check that you have the digital coupon clipped, and that it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
*$5/$25 (or any DG threshold coupon) deducts a little off each qualifying item. Each of these small increments will total $5 (or whatever your threshold amount is.)
