If you don’t know what to order. I have a few suggestions.
Penzeys Celery Salt – I absolutely love their celery salt. I can’t believe how good this is.
Penzeys Pepper – I used to use a pepper grinder, now I buy Penzeys Pepper, it’s such a nice grind.
I always keep onion powder and garlic powder in my pantry too.
This might sound crazy, but when Penzeys was shut down recently due to the Covid-19 virus, I borrowed Penzeys Pepper from my sister. I didn’t want to go back to regular store bought.
California Style Seasoned Pepper – Good stuff to mix in coleslaw dressing (has bell pepper in it, which has always been the secret ingredient in my cole slaw). It is best to sit for at a few hour or overnight to get the flavors intermingled.
There are just so many good spices to choose from … but beware, they are addicting!
I did a search online for recipes and made my own blackening seasoning for salmon. I bought all the spices from Penzeys and then mixed them in mason jars, although Penzeys Northwoods is really good too. I actually made two different recipes of the blackening seasoning.
I can’t recall where I got the other recipe, but one is from here:
Instead of mixing it up each time I want it, I made up large batches.
I’m fairly sure I’m going to put in an order today. I want to try Penzeys Aleppo Pepper. I also want to get some Penzeys Frozen Pizza Seasoning which is good on sub sandwiches.
